Error injecting : org.jboss.as.plugin. deployment.Deploy java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError : org/jboss/ as/controller/ client/ModelControllerClient

In Master Data Management (MDM), while installing MDM 9.7.1 with JBoss application server, the Post Install lSetup displays the following error message: "Error injecting: org.jboss.as.plugin.deployment. Deployjava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError : org /JBoss/as/controller/ client/ModelControllerClient"

Solution

  1. Verify if there are any corrupt jar files or any corrupt files in the folder or private repo.

  2. Error injecting java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

  3. Next, you should remove the JBoss-as-maven-plugin folder, as this plugin may cause an error. If the artifact is not available in your private repo then download it from maven central repo. Also, download other jar files whose plugins are important in the JBoss-as-maven-plugin artifact private repo so that server can download all the relevant jar files from maven central repo. To resolve this issue, use JBoss EAP instead of JBoss AS to install MDM 9.7.1.

  4. "Error injecting: org.jboss.as.plugin.deployment.Deploy java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jboss/as/controller/ client/ModelControllerClient" this issue may also occours due to org.jboss.as.controller. client.ModelControllerClient$Factory which is responsible for creating message queues in JBoss. This class is under jboss-cli-client.jar file. This JAR file may not present in JBoss AS version, however, it is present in the JBoss EAP 6.1 and later versions.
