For the camera, the Redmi Note 5 Pro packs a 12-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.25-micron) + 5-megapixel (f/2.0, 1.12-micron) primary camera on the rear and a 20-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Redmi Note 5 Pro Lagging or App taking too much time to open

  1. If every app is opening slow on your Redmi Note 5 Pro then you might need to restart your device, so that services can run fresh.
  2. Update all the pending apps and the OS if the apps are not updated and restart your device. Check if any app is running is the background that might cause lagging.

Game or Application(like Facebook, Camera, Instagram, PUBG) crashes or unexpectedly closes in Redmi Note 5 Pro

  1. Go to in-built app Security-> Clear Cache. This might speed up the phone.
  2. Go to Settings > Apps , and choose the app which is crashing frequently and clear its cache/data.
  3. Uninstall the app and install it again from the play store.
  4. Try updating the software or firmware of the phone your self in the updates option.

  1. Go to settings on the Redmi Note 5 Pro and clear app data of the app Play Store.
  2. Logout from your Google account by going into Settings > Other Accounts > Google and in the bottom click on the 3 dots and select Remove account . Restart and open Play Store and login again into your Google Account. Then try downloading the app.
  3. Clear search history from the Play store app. Check if the Google Play store app is updated and try again to download the app.

Make sure the device is not facing this problem due to a liquid or a physical damage to the screen caused internally.

  1. Check if the phone is overheating. If there are apps you rarely use, remove them from the phone temporarily.
  2. If you are getting stuck on the default apps on Redmi 5 Pro such as Phone, Messaging or the camera app, go to Setting > Apps > Default Apps , choose the app you are getting issues with and clear the cache/data.
  3. If anything else does not work, a factory reset or phone format could help you solve the problem.

For data network issue, try the following:

  1. Go to Network type by Settings>More>Cellular Networks>Preffered Network type, select LTE and save settings.
  2. Check if there is a minor damage on the SIM tray which can also be the reason to this problem.
  3. Turn Airplane mode ON and then OFF.
  4. Remove the SIM card and put it back again.

  1. Download "MI Flash Tool" on your device.
  2. Download "Fast boot File" according to your device details.
  3. Press "Volume Down key + Power key" together and choose "FASTBOOT" mode.
  4. Connect your device to Computer/Laptop via USB Cable or Deep Flash Cable.
  5. Install and open "MI Flash Tool", click on the "FLASH" button to connect your device to software.
  6. Click "Select" button to select "Fast boot File", and click on "FLASH" button to flash it.
  7. After successfully flashing done, disconnected device, wait 7-8 Minutes till it starts.
  8. If the phone is stuck on "MI Logo", restart it by "Volume down Key + Power Key".
  9. Again wait for 8-10 minute, it will start.
