Fix Windows 10 startup problem

Sometimes when You start your PC, you see some error message and your PC doesn�t start. Then you wonder what to do now. So here we have some solutions which you can use to solve the issue.

For various PC problems,use Automatic Repair tool.This tool will repair common computer errors, protect from file loss, malware, hardware failure and optimize the PC for better performance.

  • Download Automatic Repair PC Repair Tool from Internet
  • Click "Start Scan" to find Windows issues that may be causing PC problems.
  • Click "Repair All" and check if that resolves the issue.

If the automatic repair does not resolves the issue, this can be fixed in the below ways:

  • Solution 1 - Use Command Prompt from Windows 10 Boot Options menu After your computer restarts, you will see "Windows 10 Boot Options" menu. When Boot Options menu appears, you need to do the following:
  1. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options.
  2. Select Command Prompt from the list of options.
  3. When Command Prompt appears,enter the following code:
    • bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
    • bootrec.exe /fixmbr
    • bootrec.exe /fixboot
  4. You can also run the chkdsk commands chkdsk /r c: and chkdsk /r d:
  5. Check if the issue gets resolved.

  • Solution 2 - Boot to Safe Mode and run Command Prompt
    1. This is sometimes caused by a bad driver, such as a Microsoft Windows driver for a wireless mouse, This can be resolved in this way:
    2. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings.
    3. Restart your computer and choose Enable Safe Mode with Networking.
    4. Download the updated version of driver from manufacturers website, and save it to your USB flash drive.
    5. Press Windows Key + X and choose Command Prompt (Admin) from the list.
    6. Enter the code in command prompt: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

      Restart your computer and install the downloaded driver to check if the issue is fixed.
You can also try any of the following solutions:
  • This could be due to early launch anti-malware protection option. Try by disabling that option.
  • Sometimes VMWare files can cause this issue. Check log file to find the corrupted file and delete that.
  • Try by disabling Automatic Startup Repair.
  • Try to restore your registry from RegBack directory.
  • Check if device partition and os device partition values are correct.
  • Try by performing Refresh or Reset.
