If you are Shortlisted for JEE Advanced Exam :
If you have a rank under 1.5 lakh and shortlisted for JEE Advanced; then you should start preparing yourself for the JEE Advanced Exams. You can consult your Teachers and Seniors for some tips regarding preparation of JEE Advanced Exam.
If you are NOT Shortlisted for JEE Advanced Exam :
- Start preparing for Next Year : You can start preparing for Next year's exam from today itself, so you can have a guaranteed seat next year.
- Opt for NIT College : You can opt for an NIT college. NIT colleges are also good colleges, you can take
admission in these colleges, if you don't want to waste your one year.
- Grab the Seats in IIITs and Government Colleges : Don't panic if you don't get a seat in NIT college too. You still have a chance to apply for various IIITs and Government Funded Colleges (GFTIs). Last Year, IIITs had nearly 3000 seats vacant and GFTIs also had 4000 seats vacant.
- Private Colleges : Many private colleges in India accept JEE Mains 2018 Scores. If you fail to get a seat in any NITs, IIITs or GFTIs, then you may opt for these colleges, as they are truly luxurious and best suited with the IITs and NITs standards but such colleges usually have much higher fees than all other colleges.
